We went with my son's preschool class on a field trip to the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve today. We didn't see any herons, but the children found lots of slugs and a few snails along the path - and a rabbit hiding in the woods :) I found some pretty flowers... and a caterpillar relaxing in a rose bud :D
