Wow, it has been a LONG time since my last post. I have never been too good at keeping up with this kind of thing, I find that when I miss a little, I have a really hard time jumping back in again.  But I thought that this was important to share.....

As many of you know, I am a photographer for The Maple Leaf Mission, an organization dedicated to 'Giving the gift of life through pictures.'   {Check out the website - http://www.themapleleafmission.com/} As soon as I had heard of The Maple Leaf Mission and what they were about, I knew I wanted to be a part of  this wonderful group of people.  The Maple Leaf Mission offers three different photography sessions - Military Moment (homecoming, deployment, or pre-deployment),  Final Moment (for a “terminal prognosis or a life limiting diagnosis”), and Your Moment Sessions (for the families/individuals that have any debilitating or life limiting illness's a genetic condition or disability but are living your everyday life to the fullest despite your diagnosis).

This has become so much more important to me over the last few months, as my little neighbor was diagnosed with several heart complications.  Bobbie Rainne passed away almost a month ago now, and although she was never an official MLM client, she was adopted as an honorary Maple Leaf Mission baby.  I am so thankful for each and every moment I was able to spend with little miss Bobbie, both as her photographer, as well as a friend.

Tonight, at 5:30 pm, (6:30 MST) I will be auctioning off a photography session to help raise money for The Maple Leaf Mission, along with many others.   This is for a regular photo session, including up to 3 hours (as needed) of shooting time, and a disk with 10-15 fully edited images for you to print and share as you like.  Please visit my Facebook page { www.facebook.com/brandyshotsphotography } to bid on the photo below and show your support !  All money raised will be going to The Maple Leaf Mission.
