Soooooo, my camera took a lemon aid bath back in August..... and I have been very blessed to be able to borrow a camera from a friend when I absolutely needed to for a couple previously planned sessions, but in the meantime I have to do without. My camera is an extension of me, I tend to look at our would a bit differently when I am looking through the lens of my camera..... Needless to say, my life has been feeling a little empty. I am so excited though, come April I will (if all goes as planned) have my new camera! YAY!!!!!! Now, I still wont be ready for photo sessions for a couple months after, due to having surgery on my ankle (the countdown is on, two more weeks until surgery!) but I am hoping to be back into the swing of things in July/August!
Today while I was feeling a bit melancholy about my lack of having a camera, and I started looking at some of my older photos, and came across this dragonfly from this past summer. I love the way it turned out, it sure has worked to lift my spirits :)
